FREE WILL ASTROLOGY – Week beginning May 7, 2021

TAURUS (from April 20 to May 20):
Taurus poet Vera pavlova writes: “Why is the word yes so short? It should be the longest, the most difficult, so that you couldn’t decide in an instant to say it, so that after reflecting you could stop in the middle of saying it. “I suppose it makes sense for her to express such an attitude, since she never had a happy experience. until the age of 20, and that furthermore, this happiness was “unbearable.” (She confessed these sad truths in an interview) But I hope you don’t adopt her harsh skepticism towards YES anytime soon, Taurus. In my opinion, it is Time for you to become a YES connoisseur, a fearless explorer of the shining mysteries of YES, an exuberant YES author.

GEMINI (from May 21 to June 20):
In indigenous cultures from West Africa to Finland to China, folklore describes foxes as skilled tricksters with magical powers. They are sometimes seen as the perpetrators of pranks, but more often they are seen as useful messengers or clever allies. I propose that you consider the fox as your spirit creature for the foreseeable future. I think you will benefit from the influence of your inner fox, the wild part of you that is witty, cunning and resourceful.

CANCER (from June 21 to July 22):
“The universe conspires in your favor,” writes the author. Neale Donald Welsch. “He constantly puts before you the right and perfect people, circumstances and situations with which to answer the only question in life: ‘Who are you?'” In my book Pronoia is the antidote to paranoia: how the whole world is conspiring to shower you with blessingsI say more or less the same thing, although I mention two more questions that life asks regularly, which are: 1. What can you do next to free yourself from some of your suffering? 2. What can you do next to reduce the suffering of others, even a little bit? As you enter a phase where you will gain extensive cosmic help in lessening suffering and defining who you are, I hope you will ponder these questions every day.

LEO (July 23 to August 22):
The poet Anne Sexton wrote a letter to a Benedictine monk whose true identity he kept secret from the rest of us. She told him, “There are some great souls in my life. Not many. They are few. You are one. “In this spirit, Leo, and in accordance with astrological omens, I invite you to take an inventory of the great souls in your life: the people you admire, respect, learn and feel grateful for; high integrity and noble intentions; people who are generous with their precious gifts. When you’ve compiled your list, I encourage you to do what Sexton did: Express your appreciation; maybe even send gifts without obligation. Doing these things will have a profound effect healing in you.

VIRGO (from August 23 to September 22):
“It is a temptation for any intelligent person to attempt to assassinate the primitive, emotional, and appetitive self,” the author writes. Donna tartt. “But that is a mistake. Because it is dangerous to ignore the existence of the irrational.” I send you this message, Virgo, because in the coming weeks it will be crucial for you to honor the parts of your life that cannot be handled by rational thought alone. I suggest you have fun in sacred ways as you rejoice in the mysterious, welcome the numinous, explore the madness within you, undo the great feelings you have buried, and marvel in adoration at your deepest longings.

LIBRA (from September 23 to October 22):
Science writer Sharman Apt Russell provides some advice that I think you should consider adopting in the next few days. The psychospiritual healing you need will probably not be available through normal means, so some version of your proposal may be helpful: “We may need to be healed with flowers. We may have to undress and let the petals fall on our shoulders, our bellies, and our thighs. We may have to stay naked in fields of wildflowers. We may have to walk naked through beauty. We may have to walk naked through color. We may have to walk through the smell naked. “

ESCORPION (from October 23 to November 21):
As the author of Scorpio Margaret Atwood reminds us, “Water is not a solid wall; it won’t stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go and, in the end, nothing can resist it. “According to my reading of astrological omens, being like water will be an excellent strategy for you to adopt for the next few weeks.” Water is patient. ” Atwood continues. “Dripping water wears down a stone. Remember that you are half water. If you can’t get through an obstacle, avoid it. The water does.”

SAGITTARIUS (from November 22 to December 21):
In a letter to a friend in 1856, the Sagittarius poet Emily Dickinson she confessed that she was bewildered by a recent move to a new home. He hoped to regain orientation soon. “I’m with flashlights, looking for myself,” she joked, adding that she couldn’t help but laugh at her disorientation. She signed the letter “From your crazy Emilie”, intentionally misspelling her own name. I would love for you to approach your current doubts and uncertainties with similar joy and poise. (PS: Shortly after writing this letter, Dickinson began his career as a poet in earnest, reading a lot and finishing an average of one poem every day for many years.)

CAPRICORN (from December 22 to January 19):
Now is an auspicious time to celebrate both your life’s move and your own. The way we are constantly being asked to adapt to incessant transformations can be a grueling task at times, but I suspect it could be at least interesting and possibly even exhilarating for you in the weeks ahead. For inspiration, study this message from the “Welcome to Night Vale” podcast: “You are never the same twice, and much of your unhappiness comes from trying to pretend you are. Accept that you are different every day and do it with joy, recognizing the gift that it is. Work within the wishes and goals of the person you currently are, until you are no longer that person. “

AQUARIUS (from January 20 to February 18):
Aquarius Author Toni Morrison described two varieties of loneliness. The first “is a loneliness that can be shaken. Arms crossed, knees bent; holding, holding, this movement softens and contains the rocker “. The second” is a wandering loneliness. No swing can hold it down. It is alive, by itself. ” Neither type is better or worse, of course, and both are sometimes necessary as a strategy for self-renewal, as a means of deepening and honing one’s relationship with oneself. I recommend one or both in the next few weeks.

PISCES (from February 19 to March 20):
The valet to Prince Charles of England puts toothpaste on his toothbrush and washes all his clothes by hand. You could possibly interpret the current astrological omens to mean that you should follow a similar behavior in the coming weeks. I could, but I won’t. Instead, I suggest you seek help on truly important matters, not mindless trivia like ironing shoelaces. For example, I urge you to ask for the support you need as you build bridges, seek harmony, and make interesting connections.

ARIES (March 21 to April 19):
Created by Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century, the Mona Lisa It is one of the most famous paintings in the world. It is hanging in the Louvre museum in Paris. In that same museum there is a lesser known version of the Mona Lisa. It represents the same woman, but without clothes. Made by da Vinci’s student. Renaissance artists used to create “heavenly” and “vulgar” versions of the same theme. I suggest that in the coming weeks you opt for the earthy, raw, and unadorned, rather than the spectacular, idealized, and polished, as your metaphor for power.
