Looking for hydration and shine but are unsure about the ingredients in store bought masks or don’t want to dish out the cash? Luckily, there are so many natural hair mask alternatives you can create in the comfort of your own home for natural hair.
First up, we have the avocado hair mask, with a few simple ingredients like avocado, olive oil, honey, and unsweet coconut milk, this mask is guaranteed to bring moisture to your scalp and your ends.
Next up, we have an onion and ginger hair mask that protects against breakage and split ends. It can also promote hair growth, and if the odd scent turns you off, you can add peppermint or tea tree oil for a more pleasant smell.
Following, we have a fresh aloe vera hair mask, that works as a deep conditioning mask to repair and hydrate. The ingredients are fairly simple, including aloe vera, coconut oil, and Jamaican black castor oil.
If your hair tends to look a little drier, you can also try a mask with honey, egg, and apple cider vinegar. While apple cider may seem like a red flag, the mask actually provides moisture and shine for all day results.
Finally, we have a cinnamon and coconut oil hair mask. These two simple ingredients will promote hair strength, allowing your hair to stand some tougher hair styling or treatments.
