May 31, 2021– “Love Letters from Seaweed was created during the summer months I spent exploring the central Maine coastline. Every day just before sunrise I would bike to Birch Point Beach to witness the shores change topography and footprints. of marine life spilled by the tide. Intrigued, I photographed spontaneous configurations of algae and natural artifacts in supernatural colors, united by foam and sand. ” Visual artist Katherine Minott shares more. (309 reads)
