Because it’s so low-coverage and has a texture lighter than a feather, I can apply it in seconds flat just by smearing it all over my face (I never have to worry about overdoing it so I lay it on pretty thick and without much care, to be honest). At that point, I could opt to use the built-in brush located on the bottom side of the stick — which I don’t hate — but I prefer to rub it in with my fingers or reach for one of my fluffy tapered brushes to blend it all out. If I’m feeling a little extra, I might put on some blush or bronzer, but because my rosy cheeks still show through, it’s not totally necessary and I can skip it for time’s sake. And it’s so dewy that highlighter is out of the question entirely.
With the Tinted Liminizer Stick’s wet-looking finish, I always have to keep in mind that it’ll never quite dry down all the way. If I wore it with heavy eyeliner or mascara, it could be prone to a little smudging. But that’s not what it’s designed for, so I just keep the rest of my makeup light and never have to worry about it. The lack of dryness, actually, is probably what makes it so damn comfortable to wear all day. Regardless, I can do my whole face in five minutes with this stick and see a very noticeable difference in how awake I look — and, in return, how awake I feel.
