When a good-hearted When a woman came across a young man who was going to work, she immediately wanted to help. Jayden Sutton, an 18-year-old high school senior from Georgia, walked 7 miles to and from work every day. I was hoping I could save enough to buy a car. However, Lavonda Wright Myers stepped in and started a fundraiser to get her car.
Jayden met her one day at the local Honda dealership, where Lavonda introduced her to her new vehicle. The Atlanta resident told Fox News she first saw the teenager walking to work in the rain last December. From that day on, she was determined to find a way to help him buy a car. Myers said her husband was also very supportive by helping her choose a car for him.
She said the world needs more love and she wants to help, one person at a time. If we all thought this way, hatred wouldn’t stand a chance.
Myers said Dec. 10 saw Sutton walking to work on the side of the road on his way to Powder Springs. She offered to drive him to work and he agreed.
While talking to him, he discovered that he walked 7 miles to and from work every day. I couldn’t afford Uber rides, so I had to go to work somehow. Walking seemed her only option until she could save enough money from her paychecks to buy a car.
After dropping off Jayden at work, she said her determination and strength made her cry. He told her with a big smile on his face that he walks because he has to. After he said that, he felt a call to help him with his dream of buying a car. She told Fox News that “that is a child worth blessing.”
The kind-hearted woman kept her promise.
Immediately after their encounter, Myers opened a GoFundMe page and shared Jayden’s story. After just two days, $ 6,365 was raised for the purchase of his car. Just a month after Jayden and Myers crossed paths, their dream came true, all thanks to the kind-hearted woman.
He then surprised Jayden with a car at Nalley Honda in Union City, buying it with a check for $ 7,000. Myers added $ 635 out of his own pocket to pay for the car. The general manager of the dealership agreed to negotiate with her, lowering the price of the car from $ 7,800.
The local news station in Atlanta was at the dealership to record Jayden’s special surprise. He was totally oblivious to the blessing he was about to receive that day at Nalley Honda. After Myers introduced her to her new car, he told her that he loved her for the kind heart gesture. He said, “I just want to thank you very much; You don’t even understand how much. ”
Before getting in the car, Jayden would come home from school around 3:30 pm every day and then walk directly to work. He worked 6-7 hour shifts at a local restaurant and then walked 7 miles home. However, he didn’t let that get to him. He told Fox that if that was what he needed to buy a car, he would.
His positive attitude is part of the reason Myers wanted to help him. He walked all that way every day with a smile on his face and love in his heart. Myers also said the blessing couldn’t have come at a better time for his family. She learned that her mother recently had an accident that affected her car. Due to the unfortunate situation, Jayden had to walk to work.
A good heart woman says the family deserves a blessing.
In it legend in one of the images Captured when Jayden got his car, Myers had this to say:
“God made it to all of you. Please know that God provides. Jayden, no more walking 7 miles to work after school, young man. God bless everyone who is donating. Entrusting myself and God with your seed, I declare a 100-fold return. On December 10, I passed a 12th grade stranger who was walking in a lightning rain at lightning speed and on his way to work after school.
“After working a 7-hour shift, I would walk miles back in the cold and come home around 11:30 at night with the same smile. I drove him to work on December 10 and told him with bold faith, ‘The next time you see me, it will be with a car that the Lord will bless you with.’ We pray together on the steps of his work and activate our faith! This child, nor his family, never asked me for a penny, it was all God.
I sowed my seed for the first time on December 11, I created GoFundMe on December 12 with a goal of $ 4,000 and in 30 days, God demonstrated his love, power and ability to provide beyond my goal a miracle of $ 7,000 in between of a pandemic. Thank you Jesus for an ear to listen, a heart for your people and the obedience to be a blessing in this world.
“Her mother’s car was recently wrecked and she was fired from work. If you want to be a blessing to her too, you can donate on the GoFundMe link at my Facebook page Posted on December 12.
“I definitely heard God clearly regarding this family. She said that this act of kindness from a genuine heart that expected nothing in return had left her speechless. She thanks me every day for text messages, and the tears of gratitude are her feelings towards God and all those who gave.
“All the people around the world who donated, believed and prayed with me, Thank you for trusting me to the last penny, and I bless God for your sacrifice. I declare that it returns to you 100 times. “
Jayden wants everyone to know that if you’re trying to reach a goal, don’t give up. You can get a helping hand when you least expect it.
