Move over, Reese and Ava — Hollywood has a new set of contenders for the celebrity mother-daughter duo that’s most likely to be mistaken for sisters. Over the Independence Day long weekend, Jessica Alba and her 13-year-old daughter, Honor, took to multiple social media platforms to show off just how much they resemble each other.
In a video posted to both TikTok and Instagram on Alba’s accounts, the actor and Honest founder first gives viewers a glimpse and her and Honor’s casual workout looks. After a quick hand-to-the-lens edit, the pair models supercute, tiered, floral maxi dresses. But as adorable as the outfits are, the most eye-catching element of the clip is how much Honor is starting to look just like her mom. (If you remember Alba in The Secret World of Alex Mack, you know exactly what I’m talking about.)
The two both have straight, thick hair that reaches a few inches past their shoulders, with Alba’s deeply side-parted and Honor’s parted in the middle. If it weren’t for the fact that Alba dyed her usually highlighted hair a shade of dark, chocolate brown a couple of weeks ago, their hairstyles would be truly identical. And needless to say, their faces are basically mirror images, with that glowing skin and those showstopping smiles. The resemblance is only enhanced by the matching poses they blithely strike.
It’s yet to be seen if Honor will follow in her mother’s footsteps of switching between low-key beauty looks and extra-glamorous ones, but we can’t wait to see how much she continues to twin with Alba.
